Immigration?

Legalization Now! Âlegalizesión Ahora! was the name of the petition to give rights to the immigrants as the largest demonstration in the history of California took place on the 25th of this month. With over one million protesters, things got out of hand in some parts of California. In Escondido (North county San Diego), a protester ended up with a bloody nose after wrestling a police officer to the ground.
Thousands of students skipped classes at 38 schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District. More than four times that number protested on Monday. An estimated $500,000 in state funding based on student attendance is what it cost the district.
Many however believe that corporations and Leftists are behind the protests due to the benefit of cheap labor.
I believe an alternative solution should be sought to please all parties. It's all about compromise. California without Mexicans loses its identity, but protecting borders is also important.
There should be a middle ground. As Rumi said: "Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I will meet you there."
